Sometimes we tell our stories casually while sipping coffee with a friend and sometimes we shout it from any rooftop we have access to. I am comfortable doing both. Give me a Caffe Americano and I’ll paint you a picture with words, give me a bullhorn and I’ll make sure your audience is paying attention. stories you tell.” This applies to marketing, public relations, and any brush of communication a brand has with their audience. Storytelling is not one dimensional and every story must be both engaging and compelling. The ability to effectively conceptualize and create engaging content is valuable to any organization. I wrote an article to honor Children's Grief Awareness Day. It was picked up and shared by the official Children's Grief Awareness Day organization and National Alliance for Grieving Children, the largest nonprofit organization for children's grief advocacy. In total, the article was shared over 2,000 times on Facebook alone, making it the most popular piece on the subject matter for the day.

I wrote content for this Kickstarter campaign page, content for social media, for product description, and for the associated blogs. In addition to creating content, I sketched the ideas and wrote the language for the infographic to the left. A graphic design team member helped bring it to reality.

 

The Kickstarter was SUCCESS! Goal was $75,000, funds raised $100,603

I redesigned Pathway Counseling's website using WordPress (Divi Theme). I custom created all the graphics and headers, shot and edited staff photos, and I continue to write blog content and create promotional graphics and flyers for upcoming events, e.g. Bullying & Depression flyer seen below.
